Accessing Your Pay Stub
View and download pay stubs in DayForce:
- Log into DayForce
- Click "Pay"
- Select "Pay Stubs"
- Choose the pay date
Pay Stub Sections
Earnings
Regular Hours: Your standard hourly rate for regular hours worked
Overtime: Hours over 40 per week (or over 8 per day in California) paid at 1.5x your rate
Holiday Pay: Pay for company holidays
PTO: Paid time off hours used
Sick Leave: Sick leave hours used
Deductions
Pre-Tax Deductions:
- Medical insurance
- Dental insurance
- Vision insurance
- 401(k) contributions
- HSA contributions
- FSA contributions
Taxes:
- Federal income tax
- State income tax
- Social Security tax
- Medicare tax
- State disability insurance (if applicable)
Post-Tax Deductions:
- Additional life insurance
- Garnishments (if applicable)
Year-to-Date Totals
Your pay stub shows totals for the current year:
- Total earnings
- Total deductions
- Total taxes
- Net pay
Common Questions
Why is my check different this period? Check for: hours worked variations, benefit deduction changes, tax withholding changes, or one-time deductions.
What is OASDI? Old Age, Survivors, and Disability Insurance (Social Security tax). This is 6.2% of your gross pay.
What is Medicare tax? Federal health insurance tax. This is 1.45% of your gross pay.
Why did my taxes change? Tax withholding changes if you updated your W-4, changed your income, or benefit deductions changed.
