What is PTO?
OnTrac provides paid time off to all full-time employees. You earn PTO hours each pay period based on your length of service with the company.
How PTO Accrues
Years 0-2: You earn 80 hours per year (3.08 hours per pay period)
Years 3-5: You earn 120 hours per year (4.62 hours per pay period)
Years 6+: You earn 160 hours per year (6.15 hours per pay period)
Part-time employees earn PTO on a prorated basis.
When You Start Earning PTO
You begin accruing PTO on your first day of employment. You must complete 90 days of employment before you can take PTO.
Maximum PTO Balance
You can accrue PTO up to 240 hours. Once you reach this cap, you stop accruing until you use some PTO to bring your balance below 240 hours.
How to Request PTO
Submit your PTO request through DayForce at least 2 weeks in advance. Your supervisor reviews and approves requests based on operational needs and team coverage.
PTO During Peak Season
OnTrac operates in the shipping industry. Our peak season runs from November 1 through December 31. PTO requests during peak season require approval at least 4 weeks in advance and are subject to blackout dates based on your facility's needs.
PTO Payout
If you leave OnTrac, we pay out your unused PTO balance in your final paycheck (where permitted by state law).
